The most versatile timer that we can find that suits many pump control applications.   This version requires 12v DC power to operate so it can be used with solar pumping systems as well as general pump systems.   A 7-day (actual day) program with 8 on/off switches per day plus a manual on/off over-ride.   East to set up and very easy to read with a display.  To switch a pump you will also need a relay or contactor that can be switched by 12v DC.
