Grundfos SQN5
Price: QTY: SQN 5-35 Grundfos Submersible Pump with MS3 Motor 1.15 kW The Grundfos SQN 5 series of pumps are suitable for both continuous and intermittent operations for a variety of applications including: domestic water supply (direct connection to the house), irrigation, tank filling applications, water transfer between tanks, SQN 5 pumps offer the following features: all 316 stainless steel construction, run-dry protection is inbuilt, hgih efficiency pump and motor, excellent wear resistance, protection against upthrust, soft start is built in to the motor (no high startup current draw), overvoltage and undervoltage protection, overload protection, overtemperature protection. The Grundfos SQN submersible pumps have a built in electronic unit containing a frequency converter that provides a "soft start". This means that unlike conventional submersible motors that have a high start-up current demand, the Grundfos SQN pumps soft start provides a smooth and steady acceleration to normal operating speed in approximately 2 seconds. This eliminates high current draw on start-up as well as minimising wear on the pump and overloading the power system.
